# How to Price Masonry & Hardscape Jobs Without Losing Money
Masonry and hardscape work is brutal on the margins when you guess. Material is heavy, waste is real, and a single miscounted pallet of pavers can swing a job from a 30% profit to a loss. Most new contractors price by feel, win the bid, then discover at the dump fee or the third mortar run that they undercharged by 20%. Start With an Accurate Takeoff, Not a Gut Number
